Modular Robotics
A modular platform for rapidly building small physical-AI machines.
Modular Robotics
Prototype. This page intentionally contains only a high-level overview. Mechanical, electrical and control details are not public.
Problem
Building a new robot usually means redesigning the chassis, the joints, the wiring, and the control loop. Every new idea starts from zero hardware.
Modular Robotics explores a different approach: a small set of reusable building blocks that snap together physically, electrically and logically — so a new physical-AI machine can be assembled in an afternoon instead of a quarter.
Concept
A platform of interchangeable modules — joints, links, compute, sensors, end effectors — that combine into a working robot without custom mechanical work.
What it demonstrates
- Rapid assembly of new robot topologies
- Self-describing modules (each block knows what it is and how it fits)
- Unified control interface across different physical configurations
- 3D-printed parts designed for repeatable fabrication
Technology
- Robotics
- 3D printing
- Motion control
- AI integration
Status
PROTOTYPE — first generation of modules exists and has been assembled into multiple working configurations. Refinement and broader testing in progress.
